At RSI, we are always looking to expand our team. Whether you can help during our Saturday collection or during the week with processing or special projects, we would love to hear from you.

Saturday workers and processing

Our paid staff works Saturdays from 8:30am-1:30pm and throughout the week with processing. They are friendly and helpful and aren't afraid of getting their hands dirty. Helping to educate the public about different materials, assisting patrons with sorting materials, bailing, directing traffic, running the forklift and special projects like painting signs and organizing sales areas are some of what our workers handle.

Board members

RSI is a non-profit with an active board of directors. We would love to get a few more fresh faces involved with new ideas and strong leadership skills to help keep RSI pointed in a positive direction. The board meets once every few months, through during critical times of change, frequency could increase.

Volunteers

We need volunteers in every capacity! Volunteers help on Saturday collection days by helping to handle and sort materials, help direct traffic, maintain our facebook and website, helping organize fundraisers, grant writing, helping with weeding and feeding our resident animals, Mr. Peabody and the cats. Depending on your talents and interests, there is a volunteer position for you at RSI!

Committee members

Committee members leaders would lead volunteers in different sectors of RSI that need assistance. Subjects to be tackled by committees include fundraising, marketing and sales and others. Committee leaders would report at board meetings about the progress of the committee.
